The Requirements for the Retention of Laboratory Records and Diagnostic Material (Seventh Edition 2021) outlines the minimum standards for retention of laboratory records and materials. The document has been amended to address the retention and storage of COVID specimens and includes some other minor amendments for clarification.

This document comes into effect on 1 August 2021.
